Chardonnay night out

We are together again to taste wine in Sensus. This time we choose 2 different chardonnay to company our night. A cold glass of chardonnay is one of the best option for the hot summer nights. During the tasting we have so much fun as usual.

Kanyon ve Bodrum şarap tadım günlerinde bolca tadım yapma imkanı bulduğum Suvla şaraplarını tadmak için bu sefer en sevdiğim mekanlardan biri olan Sensus'daydım. Suvla şaraplarının eğitmeni Elçin Demiröz'ün harika sunumu eşliğinde gerçekleşen etkinlik oldukça keyifliydi. Bir pembe, iki beyaz ve iki kırmızı olmak üzere 5 ayrı tadımdan oluşan bu etkinlik boyunca Sensus'un ev sahipliği de oldukça başarılıydı.

Tadım yaptığım şaraplar

Sauvignon Blanc 2011- Damakta meyvemsi ve canlı bir tad bırakıyor ama asiditesi biraz fazla hissediliyor. Şeker tadı bir sonraki tadım olan Chardonnay üzümüne göre daha az.

Chardonnay 2011 - Burunda meyve ve vanilya aromalarını çağırıştıran kokusu damakta da oldukça belirgin bir hal alıyor. Sauvignon ile kıyaslandığında şeker tadı daha baskın bir şarap. Yaz günlerinde bol bol soğutup içmelik.

Rose Cabernet Sauvignon - Cabernet Franc 2011 - Oldukça pastel bir pembe görünümüne sahip bu rose damakta meyve aromlarının yoğun derecede hissedildiği güçlü bir yapıya sahip.
Grenache Noir 2011 - Decanter World wine awards 2012'de bronz madalya alan bu şarap burunda baharatlı bir koku vermesine rağmen damakta meyvemsi tadları da almak mümkün. Sadece Grenache üzümünde yapılan ender şaraplardan biri.
Merlot 2010 - Bana göre tadımın en güzel şarabı olan merlot, üzüm olarak da benim favorilerimdendir. Master of wine Istanbul 2012'de 86 gibi yüksek bir puan alan bu şarap burunda yoğun meyve aromaları damakta ise dolgun yapısı ile her ortama eşlik edebilir.

There were wine tasting days in Bodrum last weekend. I have been lucky to manage to participate. It was a wonderful experience.First of all, because it was in Bodrum and also I was with my lovely friend Gözde. Many companies took part in this wine tasting days which happened in Bodrum Milta Marina for the second time. The Atmosphere was extremely amazing and all the wines we could taste were great. I've been so lucky to meet great trainers of wine companies who made my wine tasting even more interesting.

Rose Tasting

After a short break, I turned back with a great rose tasting. Place -Rouge wine house- was lovely and the ambiance of the cellar part where we made our rose tasting was really good. We tasted 5 differents Rose which were all really nice wines. I think a cold glass of Rose is one of the best option in hot summer times. This tasting got much better with Amelie and Irmak's chat and of course delicious canapes!
